Production Finance

Production Finance are part of Channel 4’s Commercial Affairs Department. Commercial Affairs brings together Channel 4's professional support services covering Production Finance, Legal & Business Affairs, Rights and Corporate Legal.

Production Finance manage commissioned content spend on an individual production basis seeking optimal value for money for Channel 4’s investments across Non-Scripted, Scripted, and Film4 content. Many of the team have a background in TV or film production, or years of experience in Production Finance, allowing them to apply working knowledge of how budgets and schedules are put together, and production cost considerations.

Each Commissioning genre has a dedicated Production Finance Manager and Coordinator working with them, who work closely with their counterparts in Legal & Business Affairs in negotiating the best commercial deal for each project.
