Access Services/Accessibility
Channel 4 creates Access Services to enhance your programme and make it accessible to different audiences. This includes same-language subtitles for D/deaf and hard of hearing viewers, audio description commentary for blind and visually impaired viewers, and in-vision interpretation in British Sign Language.
For queries relating to Access Services on your programme, please contact our Access Services Manager. We can also offer advice on content accessibility, including readability and presentation of burnt-in subtitles, strategies for including sign language within your content, and how to integrate elements of description into your existing voiceover to help your programme reach as many viewers as possible.
