| Here are the clearest pictures yet of the CrossGolf, undergoing final testing at Germany's Nurburgring circuit before it is formally revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

| The CrossGolf sits 60mm higher than its mainstream equivalents, and has additional underbody protection and a sump guard to enable it to tackle (slightly) tougher terrain, though it isn't going to be an all-out off-roader: that comes a year later, when Volkswagen launches the Beduin, its mini-Touareg. |
