Alfa Romeo Spider Review

Running Costs3 out of 5

Alfas have never been paragons of cost-conscious motoring, and the Spider is no exception. The 2.2 JTS petrol will only just manage 30.1 mpg, with the 3.2 V6 returning just 24.6mpg. The diesel is marginally better, giving 41.5mpg.

Initial purchase prices are high in comparison to others on the market, but the Spider does is well equipped, so taking this into account, there isn't too much of a difference.

Servicing intervals are every 18,000miles, and the three-year warranty has an unlimited mileage limit.
