Fifa boss Infantino keeps job after crisis meeting

European football’s governing body is still threatening to boycott the World Cup after Fifa’s president Gianni Infantino insisted he would not be stepping down.

Britain’s Football Association has also sent a letter to Fifa officially withdrawing their support.

Mr Infantino has been under pressure over his now abandoned plan to sell off stakes in competitions like the world cup to private investors.
