Wild storks hatch in Britain for first time in 600 years

It’s been 600 years in the making. For the first time since the Battle of Agincourt, wild stork chicks have hatched in Britain.

On the Knepp Estate near Horsham, 3,500 acres of land were rewilded and a pair of storks brought in to breed. Last year, there were just a few eggs, now there are 30.
