UN convey reaches Eastern Ghouta 　

Carrying food and emergency relief for more than 27,000 desperate people, a UN aid convoy has managed to enter the besieged enclave of eastern Ghouta for the first time in weeks.

Officials called it a “first, positive step”, but accused the Syrian military of refusing to allow some urgently needed medical supplies to be loaded on board.
