Ukrainian people brace themselves as Russia’s eastern ground offensive begins

After President Zelensky’s  announcement that Russia’s eastern ground offensive has begun, Ukrainians are bracing themselves for heavier attacks.

Most of the country is unaffected by land fighting directly but the coming weeks of the conflict, both Russia and Ukraine agree, could be pivotal.
