Turkey: is Erdogan about to get sweeping new powers?

Turkey’s president is claiming victory tonight in his country’s referendum to award him sweeping new powers.

President Erdogan says the result is clear even though the ‘yes’ vote appears to have only a narrow lead with around 5% of the vote still to be counted.
