Private Ryan and the dinosaurs: what could Tim Howard save?
The USA might be out of the World Cup, but an inspired performance from goalkeeper Tim Howard has earned him the best respect Twitter can offer the hashtag #thingstimhowardcouldsave.
Howard set a new World Cup record after making 15 saves in the clash with Belgium – which saw the European team proceed to the quarter-finals with a 2-1 victory.
The Everton goalkeeper’s performance led to the hashtag praising his abilities – which has been trending. Channel 4 News lists 15 of our favourites (one for each save) below.
