Teenagers respond to Chief Medical Officers’ advice on screen breaks for children

The UK’s four Chief Medical Officers have said that children shouldn’t use electronic devices at the dinner table and should take a break every two hours.

They’re also urging social media firms to do more to protect children from inappropriate content. This is a timely warning as the head of Instagram today confirmed the platform would now ban all graphic images relating to self harm.
