Patients waiting more than four hours in A&E: a target missed by almost every major emergency department in England according to new figures. Plus a record number stuck on trolleys. And that was back in November so things can only get worse. NHS managers warned today the health service had reached a tipping point calling for urgent intervention to tackle the crisis.
