Meet the Democrat challenging political conventions in Texas

The Democrats are hoping they claim an unexpected mid-term win in Texas, even though they haven’t won a state race there since the 90s. The current senator is Republican Ted Cruz but there’s a wonderkid challenger who’s making him sweat. We caught up with both candidates on the campaign trail last week, when the caravan was yet to emerge, but immigration was already the talk of Texas.
