Iranian regime is ‘toast’ says US secretary of war

The US Secretary of Defence announced the sinking in a press conference earlier. Pete Hegseth described the Iranian regime as “toast” and hailed the “quiet death” inflicted on those aboard the warship.

Hegseth said the US was winning the war against Iran and could fight as long as needed, but wouldn’t be drawn on how long that might be. The only limit, he said, was President Trump’s desire.
