Inside Northern Syria

President Erdogan claimed today that 109 Kurdish fighters had been killed in the last two days of fighting, but the number was disputed by his opponents on the ground.

In northern Syria seven civilians were reported killed, including two children. Meanwhile Syrian Kurdish forces fired mortars across the border, reportedly killing six people in several Turkish towns.
