Hundreds of Britons stranded in Pakistan desperately trying to return

The Foreign Office estimates that up to a million British nationals are currently travelling abroad and many of them are desperately trying to get home.

In Pakistan alone, hundreds of vulnerable British citizens are stranded with many of them running short of the vital medication they need to treat serious health conditions.

A cross-party group of more than sixty MPs has urged the government to arrange flights to them home as more and more stories of people stuck in dire circumstances emerge.
