How drive for high tech space jobs in northern Scotland are dividing remote communities

Any day now final judgement is expected in Edinburgh on the first of three possible launch pads for space rockets in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.

The issue is divisive – bringing industrialists, crofters, bureaucrats and naturalists to court as planning permission for one project in Sutherland comes under judicial review.
