Far-right MEP resigns after attending an alleged sex party

Special Correspondent and Presenter

An MEP from Hungary’s far-right Fidesz party has resigned after being caught when police raided an alleged sex party in Brussels. The party was attended by around 20 people – mostly men – in clear breach of coronavirus rules. Jozsef Szajer initially said he had been under “mental strain”, but later offered a full apology for “violating the rules of assembly”. Other diplomats were also said to have taken part in the secret party.
