Erdogan and Putin urge one another to implement Idlib ceasefire in Syria

Two Presidents – Erdogan of Turkey and Putin of Russia – have urged each other to implement a ceasefire in Idlib province in northern Syria. The Kremlin backs Syrian-government forces there. But the truce with jihadist rebels, brokered by Turkey last year, has broken down.
