Does climate change have a role in hurricane severity?

First Harvey, then Irma and Jose. Now it’s Maria’s turn. This year’s hurricanes are moving ferociously down the alphabet. And we are only half way through the hurricane season, the worst since 2005 . So is this cyclical or does climate change play a role in the severity of the storms?
