Countries ‘nowhere near’ where they should be on tackling global warming

The United Nations has warned that the commitments of countries across the globe to tackle global warming are ‘nowhere close’ to the targets required by the 2015 Paris Climate Change Agreement.

The latest UN report comes eight months ahead of the COP26 conference in Glasgow, when more action will be demanded of the world’s leading polluters.
