Helicopter carrying aid to Yazidis crashes in Iraq
As the desperate suffering on and around Mount Sinjar continues, Channel 4 News hears that a helicopter carrying aid to the Yazidis in northern Iraq has crashed.
The New York Times said one of its journalists was on board the flight, and had been injured. The newspaper also reported that the pilot had been killed and rescue helicopters had taken other injured passengers to hospital.
The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
