Brexit trade talks suspended after EU official tests positive for Covid

The Brexit trade talks in Brussels came to an unexpected halt this afternoon after one member of the European negotiating team tested positive for coronavirus.

The holdup comes at a critical moment with the deadline to agree a deal approaching fast.

Both sides admit there are still a number of disagreements, including over fishing rights and what commitments the UK should make on subsidies for business. So what are the compromises needed to reach a deal?
