10 Palestinians dead and over a hundred injured after Israeli military raid on Nablus triggers battle

An Israeli military raid on the West Bank city of Nablus has triggered a battle that left at least ten Palestinians dead and over a hundred injured.

Israel says the rare daytime raid was targeting a group of wanted militants who, once surrounded, opened fire rather than surrender. Among the dead were a 72 year old man and a boy of 14.
