The Independent Police Complaints Commission, who review police behaviour, have failed to get an injunction to prevent Channel 4 News from broadcasting pictures showing Ian Tomlinson moments before he was shoved and struck by a police officer at the G20 protest.

Mr Tomlinson died minutes later. Channel 4 News has pieced together extensive footage which appears to show the officer involved in several chaotic incidents with protesters.
