Former Lostprophets singer Ian Watkins is to be sentenced for sex offences against children. But his ex-girlfriend says she was ignored when she tried to report him. Contains distressing references.

His crimes were horrific: multiple sexual offences involving children, and in one case the attempted rape of a baby.
Ian Watkins, former frontman of the rock group Lostprophets, will be sentenced on Wednesday. Channel 4 News understands that South Wales police, who today admitted “issues of concern” – were provided with information about the singer from as many as five other forces prior to his arrest.
Watkins’s former partner has told Channel 4 News she tried for years to report him but was ignored.
