Will Tories reconsider green policies amid shock by-election win?

Despite the warnings from nature, the Conservatives here might be on the verge of reconsidering some of their green policies – in the wake of Friday’s by-election results.

The party scored an unexpected victory in an outer London constituency, after campaigning against a Labour pledge to expand anti pollution measures.  And today Rishi Sunak promised that any net zero commitments should not burden households with unnecessary hassle and costs.
