Wildlife across the world declining at ‘unprecedented’ rate, UN warns

Reporter

Wildlife and habitats across the world are declining at an “unprecedented” rate – putting up to a million species of plants and animals at risk of extinction.

That’s according to a major new report by scientists, backed by the United Nations.

It warns that our behaviour is posing a direct threat to economies, food security, health and human well being.

And they’re calling for ‘transformational change’ to stop the damage getting even worse.
