Why are Covid cases surging in France?

In France the numbers of patients admitted to hospital intensive care units with Covid-19 has now reached levels last seen in November.
We spoke to leading epidemiologist Dr Catherine Hill, and began by asking her if the situation would be better if France had more vaccine doses.
