Virgin Galactic successfully completes first space tourism flight

A mother and her teenage daughter and an eighty year old former Olympian made history by blasting up into space today – on board Virgin Galactic’s very first space tourism flight.

The VSS Unity blasted off from New Mexico – heading for the very edge of space itself.
