Vast majority of England’s waters polluted by sewage

The vast majority of England’s rivers, lakes and coastal waters are polluted, according to a new survey by the Environment Agency.

Its research found just 14% are in good ecological health while not a single body of water is safe from toxic chemicals. Our north of England correspondent Clare Fallon was live on the River Aire for us.
