Underwater sculptures highlight threat of sewage pollution

British sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor makes works that are intended to slip below the waves – literally. He’s created underwater installations around the globe, from the Caribbean to Australia.

His aim is to draw attention to the threats facing our seas, such as ocean warming brought on by the climate crisis. And now the issue of sewage pollution has brought his sculptures home to the Kent coast.
