Ukraine war: Kyiv hit by ‘record’ Russian drone attack

The Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy has praised the country’s air defence forces – after the biggest Russian drone attack on the capital Kyiv, since the beginning of the full scale war.

One man was killed and others were injured by falling debris – as Ukraine said it had shot down 58 out of 59 Iranian made drones fired at the country during the night.
