UK inflation falls to lowest level for more than two years, but are prices getting cheaper?

UK inflation has fallen sharply to 4.6% in October, according to new figures –  its lowest level for more than two years.

Rishi Sunak called it welcome news and said the Government had met its pledge to halve inflation by the end of the year, earlier than expected.

But it doesn’t mean prices are getting cheaper, they’re just not going up quite as fast.
