UK Indians rush to send help amid India’s Covid crisis

The Disasters Emergency Committee has just extended its appeal to help India get urgently needed life saving humanitarian relief.

Britain’s Indian communities have rushed to send help back home, from charity appeals to sending oxygen equipment, to doctors providing practical support to colleagues online, as they struggle to cope with an overwhelming wave of cases.

And many people here are now mourning the loss of loved ones.
