Two cases of coronavirus confirmed in UK

Two people from the same family have tested positive for the coronavirus – the first confirmed cases in the UK.

They’re now being treated in a specialist infectious disease unit in Newcastle.

Meanwhile 83 Britons evacuated from Wuhan – the Chinese city at the centre of the outbreak – have been taken to a hospital in Wirral where they’ll be quarantined for the next 14 days.
