Turkey election: how could an Erdogan loss change the world?

Voting has ended in Turkey’s closest election in recent history and it’s looking as if there was a huge turnout.

Voters were faced with a stark choice – whether President Erodgan should continue to lead the country down the path of one man rule – or a shift back to parliamentary democracy under his opposition rival Kemal Kilicdaroglu.

According to the opinion polls the race has been too close to call.
