Tory leadership race: Rishi Sunak says plans for immediate tax cuts are ‘immoral’

The former Chancellor Rishi Sunak has claimed he’s the underdog in the Tory leadership race – saying that the “forces that be” are backing his rival Liz Truss.

Mr Sunak was out campaigning in Grantham, the birthplace of former Conservative Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
