‘They almost killed me’ – Syrian-American prisoner to sue Assad regime

International Editor

This is the horrific ordeal of a young Syrian American man who was arrested at Damascus airport on his way home to continue his studies, and says he was held for three weeks before being released.

He’s launched a claim for damages against the Syrian government in the US courts.

We should warn you – there are distressing images and details in our report.
