The war in Gaza could last until the end of the year. That was the gloomy assessment of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s security adviser today.

His words came as Israel continued to strike the southern city of Rafah – with the military now claiming to have complete control of the border zone between Gaza and Egypt.
