Teaching union accuses government of mental health ‘betrayal’

A teacher’s union is accusing the government of “betrayal” for a lack of support in helping young people with mental health issues.

Its survey suggests most teachers have pupils that need help but almost two thirds of them aren’t confident those services are available.
