Swiss fire: officials race to identify victims as families face ‘unbearable’ wait

Investigators in the small Swiss ski resort of Crans Montana are still working to identify all the victims of the New Year’s Eve fire, saying “every minute that passes without answers” is unbearable for their families.

At least 40 people died at the scene and 119 others are in hospital, many severely injured.
