Supermarket terror in France

Islamist terror returned to France today as a gunman was shot dead after taking hostages at a supermarket. He killed three people in separate incidents starting in Carcassonne and ending at the store in Trebes. Police said the man claimed to be a supporter of Islamic State and had demanded the release of the sole surviving suspected perpetrator of the Paris attacks in November 2015, when 130 people were killed.
