Six cases of Brazilian variant of Covid-19 found in the UK

Three cases of the Brazilian variant have been confirmed in Scotland and three in England – and officials have no idea where one of the English individuals is, as they failed to complete their test registration card.

But there has been some good news too – more than 20 million people in the UK have now had their first Covid vaccine – hailed by Boris Johnson as “a huge national achievement”.
