Should drill lyrics be used as evidence in criminal cases?

Rap music is art, not evidence, according to a new campaign which says lyrics shouldn’t routinely be used to prosecute people in court.

Police have taken hundreds of drill and rap videos offline while, say campaigners, 240 people in the UK have been jailed on evidence at least partly based on their involvement with rap.

Ria Chatterjee has been talking to Digga D, who recently sold out the Royal Albert Hall, and has more than half a billion global streams.

But due to a criminal behaviour order, police are allowed to vet his work.
