Scottish MP pleads guilty to putting people at risk of Covid

Data Correspondent and Presenter

The Scottish MP Margaret Ferrier has pleaded guilty to putting people at risk by travelling across the UK while she had covid.

Tough new restrictions had been reimposed just days before Ferrier travelled in and around Glasgow, then to Westminster and back despite having symptoms and later a positive test result.

The whip was removed and she was suspended from the SNP, but still she remains an independent MP.
