Russia Ukraine conflict: Inside a refugee centre as 1.3 million flee Russian invasion

The UK’s Disasters Emergency Committee Appeal for Ukraine has now raised more than £85 million.

They have urged people to donate money rather than goods so it can be used most effectively by their teams on the borders and inside Ukraine.

More than 1.3 million people have now fled Ukraine – most of them women and children.

We went to a refugee centre on the border.
