Russia expels 23 British diplomats

Moscow has announced it is expelling 23 British diplomats in response to Theresa May’s decision to expel the same number of Russian diplomats from the UK following the Salisbury nerve agent attack.

Russia’s foreign ministry also announced it is shutting the British consulate in St Petersberg and the British Council which promotes cultural links. Our international editor Lindsey Hilsum reports from Moscow.
