Rudd pledges to improve Universal Credit

The new Work and Pensions Secretary Amber Rudd has admitted there are problems with Universal Credit. In her return to frontbench politics she told MPs: “I know it can be better.” Ms Rudd, though, was not best pleased about comments made about poverty in the UK by a United Nations special rapporteur.
