Rap artist Mike Skinner on filming a murder mystery for new album

The rap artist best known for the Streets made his name in the early 2000s, taking on the garage scene and making it relatable to swathes of Britain’s disaffected young people.

More than a decade later, Mike Skinner is back, not just with a new album, but a debut feature film to go with it, The Darker the Shadow, the Brighter the Light, a murder mystery set in London’s clubland.
